Dear diary,

Today is Christmas. I was so excited but I was the only one up.  I had to wait 3 hours for the rest of my family to wake up.  After 3 hours past, my family woke up then my mum said,” breakfast.”

I cried, “what! I want to open the present though!”

Mum sighed, “after breakfast.”

“Okay, but first I am going to look at the Christmas tree.”

Mum said, “okay.”

I asked, “what is for breakfast?”

“Pancakes,” mum replied.

“Yummy!”  Then we opened the presents. Merry Christmas everyone and happy new year.
